Yavatmal Public School Hosts Transformative workshop on Happy School Culture

A two-days workshop on the theme Happy School Culture was organized at Yavatmal Public School YPS. Both the days of the training was filled with positive energy and enthusiasm. The event began with a prayer and invocation to Goddess Saraswati presented by school music department under the guidance of Mr Vishal shendarkar.

The session was graced by the presence of Mrs. Archana Kadhao, Principal of Yavatmal Public School, Mrs. Sandhya Subrahmanyam, Principal of Veena Devi Darda School, Mrs. Niharika Prabhune, Headmistress of Pre Primary section, Mrs. Shruti Chawak, Coordinator of secondary section and Mrs. Nisha Joshi Supervisor of Primary section..

Mr. Shanti Swaroop Sriramula, a renowned counselling psychologist, behaviour trainer and founder of L’avenir Life skills and Happy School Culture from Hyderabad conducted the session. During the workshop, Mr. Sriramula provided practical insights and strategies on how teachers can engage with students empathetically without the use of physical punishment. He emphasized the importance of emotional connection and understanding while handling classroom situations effectively and positively. He highlighted effective methods to address children’s psychological issues during the training session.

.The highlight of the workshop was the Relationship Building Session, which focused on strengthening teacher-student relationships. The trainer also discussed how these techniques could help to build stronger bonds within the family environment.

Mr. Shanti Swaroop delivered the entire session in an engaging, simple, and humorous manner, which encouraged enthusiastic participation from all attending teachers. He emphasized shifting from the traditional “telling” method to the more student-centric “asking” approach encouraging students to think, feel, and make decisions independently.

The trainer also guided the teachers on how to connect and communicate effectively with students, and how to ask impactful questions. Using relatable examples and simple language, he demonstrated ways to create a joyful and positive school environment.

On the second day of the workshop, Mr. Shanti Swaroop continued to enlighten the teachers with his witty, expressive, and impactful communication style, explaining how teachers can guide students in the right direction by first establishing a strong emotional connection. He highlighted the importance of a teacher’s behaviour in motivating students. He said that maintaining a balance between discipline and compassion is crucial for the holistic development of every child.

He also spoke about emotional regulation and how teachers can maintain their emotional balance to cultivate a positive classroom atmosphere. A special discussion was held on anger management techniques for teachers, providing practical strategies to maintain calm during challenging situations.

Teachers from both Yavatmal Public School and Veena Devi Darda School greatly benefitted from the workshop and appreciated the initiative.

During the closing ceremony, Principal Mrs. Sandhya Subrahmanyam of Veena Devi Darda School shared her reflections and stated, If we incorporate the values and ideas learned in this workshop into our teaching practices, we can truly build a vibrant and joyful school culture.

In her presidential address, Principal Mrs. Archana Kadhao of YPS School remarked that “The relationship-building techniques shared by Shanti Swaroop Sir will empower every teacher to play a significant role in shaping future generations.

The first day of the workshop was gracefully anchored by Mrs. Rukhsana Bombaywla and the vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Sakshi Nagwani. The second day was hosted by CCA In-Charge Mrs. Aparna Bajpai, with the vote of thanks presented by Primary Coordinator Mrs. Sabera Batawala.

The workshop was meticulously coordinated under the guidance of Mr. Umakant Rode, with support from Umesh Karnewar, Abhijeet Bhishma, Aditi Bhishma, and the entire YPS team.

The success of the entire workshop was acknowledged by School Committee President Shri Kishor Babu Darda, who extended his best wishes to Principal Mrs. Archana Kadhao and all the teachers for their wholehearted involvement.

मी सौ तृप्ती धनंजय पत्रे, माझा मुलगा चि. अर्णव धनंजय पत्रे शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2023 24 मध्ये इयत्ता सहावी मध्ये यवतमाळ पब्लिक स्कूल मध्ये शिकत असून शालेय इमारत व परिसर ज्ञानार्जनाकरिता पूरक आहे. शाळेमध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांकरिता पुरेशा प्रमानात भौतिक सुविधा आहे. अध्यापनाकरिता शिक्षक वृंद पुरेशा प्रमाणात उपलब्ध आहे. "शाळा हे गुणवंत विद्यार्थी घडविणारे संस्कार केंद्र असते." त्याप्रमाणे यवतमाळ पब्लिक स्कूल मध्ये विद्यार्थी व्यक्तिमत्व विकासाकरिता तसेच विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सुप्त गुणांना वाव देण्यासाठी वेळोवेळी विविध उपक्रम आणि कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन केले जाते. याचे प्रतिबिंब म्हणजे माझा अर्णव शालेय हॉकी स्पर्धा असो, चित्रकला स्पर्धा असो, इतर कोणत्याही स्पर्धा असो, रंगमंचावरील कार्यक्रम असो यामध्ये सहभागी झालाआणि माझ्या अर्णवची व्यक्तिमत्व विकासाच्या दृष्टीने शाळेतील प्रगती पाहता मला यवतमाळ पब्लिक स्कूल विषयी समाधान वाटते.

नमस्कार मी विनोद पवार यवतमाळ माझी मुलगी नामे कुमारी यशश्री विनोद पवार ही यवतमाळ पब्लिक स्कूल यवतमाळ येथे शैक्षणिक सत्र 2023 -24 मध्ये इयत्ता आठवी तुकडी A मध्ये शिक्षण घेत आहे. सर्व टीचर स्टाफ यांनी अध्यापनाचे दर्जेदार कार्य केले आहे.

यवतमाळ पब्लिक स्कूल यवतमाळ यांनी शैक्षणिक वर्षांमध्ये सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम विविध उपक्रम चांगल्या पद्धतीने राबविले आहे त्याबद्दल मी शाळेचे मनःपूर्वक अभिनंदन करतो. शाळेमध्ये आयोजित करीत असलेले विविध शैक्षणिक उपक्रम ,सामाजिक उपक्रम ,विद्यार्थ्याच्या आरोग्याला आणि मानसिक स्वास्थ्याला आवश्यक असणारे खेळ ,मनोरंजनात्मक कार्यक्रम चांगल्या पद्धतीने राबविले जातात. विविध स्पर्धा परीक्षेमध्ये माझी मुलगी कुमारी यशश्री विनोद पवार सहभागी होत असते. उदा .ओलंपियाड सायन्स या स्पर्धेमध्ये भाग घेऊन चांगले गुण मिळवले आहे. त्याचप्रमाणे इंटरमिजिएट परीक्षेमध्ये ग्रेड ए मध्ये उत्तीर्ण झालेली आहे. सर्व शिक्षकांच्या प्रयत्नामुळे तिची शैक्षणिक सामाजिक आणि सर्व विषयाची चांगली प्रगती झालेली आहे. त्यामुळे शालेय प्रशासन,प्रिन्सिपल मॅम,क्लास टीचर मॅम, वर्ग आठवीला शिकवणाऱ्या सर्व Teachers यांचे मी मनःपूर्वक अभिनंदन करतो आणि आभार व्यक्त करतो धन्यवाद.

माझी मुलगी कु. अनिष्का विजय चौधरी ही यवतमाळ पब्लिक स्कूल, यवतमाळ येथे शैक्षणिक सत्र २०२३-२४ मध्ये इयत्ता सातवीत शिकत आहे. ती या शाळेत सन २०१७ पासून इयत्ता पहिलीपासून शिकत आहे. या शाळेत शिकत असताना तिची शैक्षणिक जडणघडण अतिशय उत्तम रितीने होत असल्याचे पाहून पालक म्हणून आम्हाला खूप समाधान वाटते आहे.

या शाळेत विद्यार्थ्यांच्या बौद्धिक विकासासोबतच त्यांच्या एकंदरीत व्यक्तिमत्त्व विकसनावर अधिक भर दिला जातो. त्यासाठी विविध प्रकारचे शाळा आणि शाळाबाह्य उपक्रम राबविले जातात. विद्यार्थ्यांना विविध प्रकारच्या शालेय जबाबदा-या देऊन त्यांच्यातील नेतृत्वगुण जोपासले जातात. विद्यार्थ्यांचा वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोन वाढीस लागण्याच्या दृष्टीने शाळेत प्रशस्त विज्ञान प्रयोगशाळा उपलब्ध आहे. त्याचा विद्यार्थ्यांना खूप फायदा होतो आहे. शाळेतील वाचनालयामुळे माझ्या मुलीला विविध विषयांवरील पुस्तके वाचण्याचा छंद जोपासता येतो आहे. शाळेतील संगणक प्रयोगशाळेत प्रात्यक्षिकातून बदलत्या 'डिजिटल' युगात समरस होण्याची संधी विद्यार्थ्यांना मिळत आहे, याचा आनंद वाटतो.

शाळेच्या प्रशस्त मैदानावर विद्यार्थ्यांच्या शारीरिक आणि मानसिक विकासाच्या दृष्टीने विविध खेळप्रकार आणि योगाभ्यास यांचा उत्कृष्ट समन्वय साधल्याचे पहावयास मिळते. शाळेची प्रशस्त व देखणी इमारत विद्यार्थ्यांसह आम्हां पालकांनादेखील भुरळ घालणारी आहे. शाळेतील इतर सर्व पायाभूत सुविधा नियमाच्या कसोटीवर ख-या उतरणा-या आहेत. त्यामुळे पालक म्हणून आमच्या पाल्यांच्या सुरक्षेसंदर्भात व सुविधेसंदर्भात आम्ही निश्चिंत आहोत.

या शाळेतील सर्व शिक्षकवृंद योग्य शैक्षणिक व व्यावसायिक अर्हताप्राप्त आहेत. त्यामुळे शिक्षकांची शाळेतील शैक्षणिक कार्यातील समर्पित भावना अगत्याने दिसून येते. शाळेत विद्यार्थ्यांना दिले जाणारे स्वयंशिस्तीचे धडे त्यांच्या भावी जीवनात चांगली व्यक्ती घडण्यास निश्चितच मदत करेल, असा मला विश्वास वाटतो. एकंदरीत या शाळेत शिकताना माझ्या मुलीची प्रगती पाहून मला अतिशय आनंद वाटतो आणि आपली मुलगी 'यवतमाळ पब्लिक स्कूल' मध्ये शिकते आहे, याचा अभिमान वाटतो.

ज्ञानदानाच्या पवित्र कार्यात गेल्या अनेक वर्षांपासून अविरत यवतमाळ पब्लिक स्कूल ही शाळा आपले योगदान देत आहे. माझा मुलगा आयुष आनंद चिंचोळकर हा प्री-प्रायमरी पासूनच या संस्थेत शिक्षण घेत आहे आणि आता सेकंडरी मध्ये जाणार आहे आणि त्याची प्रगती ही निश्चितच समाधानकारक आहे. शाळेत शिकवले जाणारे विषय तसेच वेगवेगळ्या स्पर्धा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम हे दर्जेदार असतात. शालेय शिस्त ,खेळ वेगवेगळ्या स्पर्धा ,परीक्षा पद्धती आणि ते शिकविणारे सर्व अनुभवी आणि मनमिळावू शिक्षक जसे प्रभुणे मॅडम - प्री प्रायमरी,झाडे मॅडम ,कोलवाडकर मॅडम, लांडगे मॅडम, पांचोली सर , जाउळकर मॅडम यांचा विशेष उल्लेख करेन.
